Privacy Policy and Principles

Unlike many web hosts, ENGINE MATRIX fully respects your rights to privacy. And better yet we've taken steps to ensure that your privacy is secure and always will be with ENGINE MATRIX.

Private Information
The only piece of private information we ever collect from customers is a confirmed e-mail address. This address will never be given out for any purpose. We do not actively collect personal information or demographics of any sort. This information, though "passed-back" to us from our payment processor, PayPal, is never linked to your account except by e-mail address.

Hosted Content
Information and content hosted with ENGINE MATRIX is, of course, public information. We do not routinely monitor or police this information. However, upon 3rd party request we may as a matter of compliance with the law, survey this information to assess its legality.

If after inspection some or all of the data in question is deemed to be in violation of our Acceptable Use Policy then you will immediately be notified. If no action within a reasonable amount of time we will take action to remove the offending content.

Logs and Records
Full logging does, of course, take place on our all of our equipment. These log files are rotated for both practical and privacy reasons. After a specific period of time these logs are permanetly destroyed. In the interim, when we must have logs for security auditing but before they are removed, we will comply fully with applicable law regarding disclosure to third-party law-enforcement agencies.

Dissolution Policy
The private information that we must collect is not considered an asset of ENGINE MATRIX, and therefore, will never be sold or transfered upon the dissolution of ENGINEMATRIX.
